| ROAD CLOSURE TO BE EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 25, 2012 The road closure and related detour for the work on Cypress Blvd W between Pine Dr. & Pine St. has been extended for one week. Please be advised that there have been numerous incidents of tampering with the temporary road signs associated with the construction work. Some signs have been knocked down, some have been run over while other road closure signs have been moved to allow vehicles to enter and exit the construction area. There have been some observations of vehicles moving through the construction area but it appears that the majority of these infractions occur during non-working hours. County and contractor employees have been restoring the signs to their intended locations and orientation at least a couple times per day. The Sheriff's office has been contacted about the tampering of signs, etc. and will be monitoring this situation. |
